ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'autogen_agentchat' - Repo Python Sample Code

Hi All,
I am trying to implement this sample python available in the AutoGen repository.

I have created an venv and installed the given packages mentioned in requirements.txt file. But I am getting this constant error of ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'autogen_agentchat'.
I have also tried installing pyautogen and different versions of autogen_agentchat.

How do I resolve that?

Requirements.txt:

autogen-agentchat==0.4.0

Can you do a pip list to see what is the version you have installed?

I tried installing the mentioned version autogen-agentchat==0.4.0 but it had conflicting error.
So, I installed 0.2.40

You can use a virtual environment with python 3.10+

I am now able to install autogen-agentchat==0.4.0 seperately via pip (it did not get installed when direclty tried installing via requirements.txt pip install -r requirements.txt) directly running in a venv but while runnning the code I am getting error while importing this autogen_ext.models.openai import OpenAIChatCompletionClient

I have python 3.12.8 on my system. Should I downgrade the version?

Please follow the installation instructions on README.md and the doc. You need to install autogen-ext[openai,azure] to use openai and azure openai clients.
