Have been setup Dotnet-sdk in my computer but not detected it

Describe the Issue

I used to use the scoop to install the dotnet-sdk latest version. And I restart my computer. However, although I have been add it into my computer System path, but it still hasn't detected it in my computer when I want to use vscode to write program for C#.

Steps To Reproduce

Expected Behavior

I want vscode or the Microsoft to tell me how to deal with it or fix this bug.

@Addwartoo Could you share what "the scoop" is? Could you please try downloading the SDK from our website and running dotnet --info in a terminal and sharing the results? https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download

Scoop isn't a supported installation mechanism from the .NET Team's point of view. It's a sorta-kinda Windows version of Homebrew @claudiaregio.

It installs the .NET SDK as a zip-based install, which means that the user is responsible for setting

• PATH
• DOTNET_ROOT

This Scoop package install seems to try this - but a user will likely need to restart their terminals to pick up the changes.

Also, if they've ever used the official installers at all, then these PATH/DOTNET_ROOT changes won't take and will likely lead to torn installations, a scenario that I'm trying to detect and warn about in the tooling in dotnet/sdk#51127.
