Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

  • VS Code Version: 1.97.2
  • OS Version: Windows 11 Pro 23H2

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open Terminal in VS Code
  2. Create new terminal window
  3. Drag and drop a terminal tab to another

The issue was not resolved even with the following operations:

  • clear command
  • Window resizing
  • Toggling terminal visibility with Ctrl+J
