Thanks for the recommendation. I ran across the YTuner project a couple days after posting this trying to troubleshoot Yamaha receiver not seeing my YCast server. Guess I'll be changing over.

I moved on to Ytuner. https://github.com/coffeegreg/YTuner. I would move your request over there. It's been a while, and I'm a linux noob, so I'm not the best source for help. I'll look for you over there and see if I can contribute anything. Good luck!
