Description
Users of the Agent Platform currently face friction each time they want to run an Agent they have created that uses external tools (like Jira, Slack, etc..). The friction happens is the Platform requires the user to get various API keys, tokens, or set-up external bots to be able to run the agent. This spike investigates how we can simplify that experience, to make it more straightforward for a user to go from agent creation -> agent running.
Areas to explore:
- Explore approaches such as oAuth, setting org-wide API keys, or otherwise
- Prototype potential solutions to see how they would work
Spike outcome
- Identify the most impactful and feasible approach(es) to simplify the integration experience
- Provide recommended implementation steps for inclusion in the October release.
