Backup internal sqlite3 DB without external tools

It would be nice to have the ability to backup the database ( internal sqlite3 ) without requiring external tools. It appears that automatic backups can/do happen if you have an s3 bucket. However, I prefer not to store my data there. I'd rather store my backups locally that backup to a cloud backup service.

The database without the media directory is kinda useless as all PDFs will be missing. Currently, what you are asking is not built into the app. However, you could stop all traffic to PdfDing and then simply copy the database file and the media dir via a script.
