Issue type

Crash or freeze

Description with steps to reproduce

I have only reproduced this on MacOS

  1. Open three-dot menu in mixer and open "View" submenu
  2. Go to top menu View>"Restore the default layout"
  3. Crash (oddly didn't reproduce the first time when screen recording, but I reproduce almost every time)

Yes, this works in the latest released version and is broken in the nightly builds

I am able to reproduce in 4.4.0, I am unable to reproduce in 4.3.2

As far as prioritizing this:

  1. It's not something users are very likely to do
  2. It only seems reproducible on MacOS

So despite it being a crash, it's not a show-stopper for 4.5 IMO so we can kick it down the line if we need to, but if it is a simple fix let's get it done.
