Multi-Color Beams #26998
Comments
MusicXML could do that, MuseScore cannnot |
Thank you. How do I code this in MusicXML? Do you know what music notation software would be able to read this change in Music XML? |
Try the attached musicxml fle beamcolors.zip MuseScore 3.6.2 and 4.4.4 doesn't read those colors at all, 3.7, 4.5. (Beta) and 4.6 (master) do, but only one per set of beams |
However: questions like this should not be raised as issues, but probably better as discussions or in the musescore.org forums or on Discord. Same goes for your other recent 'issues' |
Thank you for helping me. This is the first time I have done this and I was just following MuseScore's instructions to me. |
See also #26494, which implemented color im-/export for beams |
I need to change the beam for the 8th notes to RED and the beam for 16th notes to GREEN. If a 8th and 16th note are beamed together the 8th note portion of the beam should be RED and the 16th note portion should be GREEN. How do I add this code to the XML and will MuseScore know what to do with this change?
