Zoom waiting room list issue

Hello everyone,

I have encountered an issue with the Zoom plugin in Moodle when configuring a meeting. The "Enable Waiting Room" option is automatically re-enabled after saving the activity, even when a conflicting setting is selected.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1. Create a new Zoom meeting within Moodle.
2. Select the option "Allow participants to join anytime" and ensure that "Enable Waiting Room" is unchecked.
3. Save the meeting settings.
4. Reopen the meeting settings to review the configuration.

Observed behavior:
Despite having previously unchecked the "Enable Waiting Room" option, it is automatically enabled again after saving and reopening the settings.

Expected behavior:
The "Enable Waiting Room" setting should remain disabled when selecting "Allow participants to join anytime," as these options should not conflict.

Hi @MaleKodaH,

Do you know if this happens when you create the meeting directly on Zoom? I know that Zoom has a "require at least one security method" option, which I believe defaults to Waiting Room.

So my guess is that when you are trying to create a meeting on Zoom without a passcode, waiting room or requiring authentication, Zoom is forcing the waiting room and we probably get that information back from Zoom's API and save it locally to reflect the truth of the situation.
