.inp not showing on Abaqus and Cohesive Elements

I've been trying to generate a .inp output after working the -M module, while it runs successfully and I am able to open it in Abaqus, it will not show the RVE or anything at all. I've read the work of TarletonGroup (https://github.com/TarletonGroup/CrystalPlasticity/tree/master/Neper2Abaqus) which focus on Crystal Plasticity but a great part of the work is opening the structure on Abaqus. Should I continue working on something similar? or should .inp work directly as well? I am having trouble understanding the difference since I cannot work with the .inp file directly. After openining I plan to add cohesive elements (I don't know if it should be better adding them on Neper and if I do that will Abaqus be able to read them as cohesive?) and materials properties too.
