netalertx custom notification message

hi,

I'm new to netalertx

the default connect/disconnect notification message is big and contains useless data for me ,

is is possible to customize it , like with a template and replaceable fields ?

(and ideally I would like to have the previous event time too, eg. when a device connects it would be great if in the notification can have the previous disconnect time together with current connect time,
but I repeat this is an ideal, first it's important to be able to somehow customize the notification text)

This is not supported.

You can implement middle ware with e.g. n8n if you need to customize the notification payload. See this doc for details:

thank you for the personal reply
I will study the link given , and will do what's needed

I know that open source consumes a lot of time and not all feature requests can be attended,
but I think you understand this a how to say .. basic feature :)
since we mainly want notifications from netalertx (alert ;)) so it's logical to be able to choose a text format or even customize it with a user supplied template

A basic feature is getting notifications ;) and you can customize them as per above via n8n ;)
