Problem deleting nodes in "spreadsheet view". Does the garbage can icon actually do anything?

Per this screen shot, clicking the garbage cans in the Props/Actions column does not seem to delete anything. Clicking on it makes the Delete Device dialog box open but clicking the Delete button in that popup closes the popup but does not result in the device being deleted.

If I click on the device's Name and go into the detailed view I can delete the device using the Delete Device button at the bottom of that page.

What am I missing ?

HI - probably related to #1419 - updated teh title so it's clearer the issues are related. You can try the netalertx-dev image (backup everything at first or, ideally, spin up a separate container with a separate db and config as DB modifications can happen) to verify.

Make sure you refresh your browser cache - and click the 🔄 refresh button in the top right corner.

Okay - rebuilt again. Flushed cache. Connected from a different computer to make sure I had a clean browser.

Same problem.

I don't get an error message. Clicking on the trash can icon on the right hand side of the device's line in the overview page opens the dialog to delete the device, I click the delete button (lower right hand corner) , the window closes and nothing else happens. The device does not get deleted.

Not sure if this is what you want I picked a device at random. There is no vlan field ?

Thanks @waterwingz - this confirms it. You are using an outdated dev image where the image is not fixed.

For comparison, here is a screenshot on the latest code base on the dev image with some highlighted changes:

Could you please try:

1. Stop all NAX containers
2. Delete all dev containers
3. Delete unused images
4. Rebuild and re-fetch the latest netalertx-dev image?

I rolled out another VM and rebuilt from scratch. Problem solved with the dev versions.

I think my problem came from editing the docker-compose.yml file to use the dev code but not first updating the code from git.
