Environment
- Distro: arch
- Compositor: niri
- Noctalia-shell Version: 3.8.x
- Monitor resolution: [e.g., 1920x1080]
Additional Context
According to gemini helping debug the issue:
Noctalia v3.8 introduced a new "System Overview" and "Notification" layer that often sits transparently on top of your windows.
Input Interception: Quickshell (the engine Noctalia uses) sometimes draws a full-screen invisible window to catch gestures. Antigravity thinks it is "in the background" and throttles its own UI thread to save battery (a standard Electron behavior).
The Bus Flood: The new Noctalia "System Monitor" widgets aggressively poll the accessibility bus (at-spi2) to read window titles. This floods the bus. When Antigravity tries to send a "Click" event to that same bus, it gets queued behind thousands of Noctalia requests, leading to the "minutes later" response.
