Why do I need to provide a reproduction?

i have the font in my css like this

@font-face {
  font-family: 'Quicksand';
  src: url('/fonts/quicksand/Quicksand-VariableFont_wght.ttf') format('TrueType');
  font-weight: normal;
  font-style: normal;
  font-display: swap;
}

and the actual file is in the public directory public/fonts

maybe I should do it differently?
