 Since the prober, [Saimiris](https://github.com/nxthdr/saimiris), had matured over the winter and spring, the next step was to create an API layer—the [Saimiris Gateway](https://github.com/nxthdr/saimiris-gateway). It handles user authentication, prefix allocation, and launching measurements. In parallel, I worked on a new version of the [website](https://nxthdr.dev), which now offers user registration, a dashboard to manage measurements, and dynamic documentation to guide users through designing probes and analyzing results.
 
 I also published a static [documentation](https://docs.nxthdr.dev/docs/), which collects all the information needed to understand the network, measurements, datasets, and tools. It’s still a work in progress and will continue to expand over time.

+nxthdr is now a French non-profit organization! Precisely, it is registered as a "association loi 1901" in the Journal Officiel des Associations (JOAFFE) with number RNA [W741011633](https://www.journal-officiel.gouv.fr/pages/associations-detail-annonce/?q.id=id:202500391512).

+The future of this project depends on our ability to raise funds to maintain and grow our infrastructure. So far, our goal has been to provide a proof-of-concept and support at least one research project and one university course.

+Moving forward, if we want to grow and support more research projects and university courses, we need to raise funds. We are currently exploring grant opportunities and sponsorships. It is also possible for us to provide some paid services, mainly targeted to universities and research institutions.

+The funding will be used to maintain and grow our infrastructure. It will include renting peering and probing servers, compute and storage resources, internet resources such as IPv4 and IPv6 prefixes and potentially more AS numbers. Ideally, we would also like to provide internships to students interested in network research and development.
