We in the Client Instrumentation SIG would like to create a federated semantic conventions registry to house all of common semantic conventions used by end user client apps.
After much discussion, we want to call the repo semantic-conventions-client-side. We are figuring out the details about how this repo will be maintained, but we are expecting to have a set of maintainers (myself included) representing the various client-side SIGs like Browser, Android, and iOS.
Please let me know what else you need to process this such as a more detailed project plan. I'm happy to provide anything that y'all need to get this going.
