Failed extrinsics are still recorded and indexed, contributing to chain load. Fees were increased, but the effectiveness of this mitigation has not yet been verified.
Problem
- Failed extrinsics consume block execution time and indexing resources.
- Registration scripts and bots can still generate large volumes of failed extrinsics.
- There is no clear definition or metric for observing “chain load”.

- Fees were raised to discourage spam.
