glib did not compile

Hello folks, i am really new to brew and made some tests...

I have a little problem with compiling glib-2.66, which is required for ffmpeg. It is a shared server Ubuntu 16.04.7, so it is headless without xorg.

Actually all dependencies are installed:

Any idea how i could solve this? (i have only access to my webspace folder, so I can't solve this by changing permissions)

Or at least, do you know for which files meson is looking for?

Not having access to the system libraries is not a supported configuration as far as I know. @Homebrew/linux might be able to help you, but I wouldn't count on it.

Consider installing Linuxbrew in /home/linuxbrew/.linuxbrew/ if possible so that you can use precompiled binary packages (known as bottles) for non-relocatable formula like glib.
Another possible workaround for you is brew install --force-bottle glib, but no promises.

If it's an option for you, you could open a ticket with your information systems department to ask that they create a linuxbrew role account with home directory /home/linuxbrew.

The precompiled binary bottles of non-relocatable bottles can only be used if you install in /home/linuxbrew/.linuxbrew, otherwise they have to be built from source. See the documentation below. On macOS the default installation directory is /usr/local. On Linux the default installation directory is /home/linuxbrew/.linuxbrew.
