Solved, phew... it was an issue with mysql bin log, as per output of i disabled it for now by editing
after that i ran :
(i may have ran overall, a mac restart may also do the trick. hope it helps someone, sometime ! 😘 |

Description of issue
when i try to use
mysql
i get the following error :In the
/tmp
directory there is nomysql.sock
file.I believe that yesterday I upgraded mysql after running
brew update
.i tried to install/reinstall/uninstall mysql several times to troubleshoot this issue. i also tried to install
[email protected]
.I installed mysql via the official site and everything worked fine, except all databases are missing. i removed it as i rely on brew for all the databases.
even when mysql service is running when i try to run
mysql
i get :after some time :
would appreciate your help.
