Hey! In certain situations like when using Vulkan in a Qemu VM through Venus VA-API or any of the offered options for encoding in Sunshine aren't supported. Only Vulkan video accelleration is.
So I feel like this should be added to Sunshine to cover more modern edge cases!

+1, this can also improve the encoding latency for AMD hosts on Linux. The h264_vulkan and hevc_vulkan encoders can be set with tune ull and -usage streaming which should be great for Sunshine's usecase.
h264_vaapi and hevc_vaapi notably lack these flags and can't be tuned much. I believe that this is the main reason many users have been asking for AMF support on linux (#246)

PS: I still find the AMF deprecation quite sad, its encoders exposed a lot more features than alternative APIs, but well that nothing can be done about that
