Custom secenarios for Connected Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs)

Hi,
As part of my PhD research program, I'm working on Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs) and have decided to use Autoware. I would appreciate any guidance or examples about the following topics:

1. How should I develop custom ROS2 package for Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure(V2I) communications and Road Side Units (RSUs)
2. How should I develop or extend vehicle ROS2 nodes to add custom functionalities?
3. How could I make new maps and integrate a custom environment for testing my scenarios?
