Version 4.7.0-0.okd-2021-07-17-044921 gone missing from stable-4.7

Describe the bug

On of our OKD 4.7 clusters recently updated to OKD 4.7.0-0.okd-2021-07-17-044921 from the channel stable-4.7 and the upstream https://amd64.origin.releases.ci.openshift.org/graph.

This version seems to have disappeared leaving the cluster with a warning and it is now unable to upgrade.

How to fix this?

How reproducible

I cannot reproduce this, since the update that caused it is not available anymore.

After some investigation it seems that those clusters have been accidentally installed from a nightly release. Could this cause the update problems?

Please note that each nightly release is pruned after 72 hours. If the nightly that you installed was pruned, the cluster may be unable to pull necessary images and may show errors for various functionality (including updates).

You should be able to upgrade to

The UI offers me the three following options for update channels: stable-4.7, fast-4.7, candidate-4.7. This seems to be a bug.

We tried a downgrade after changing the channel to stable-4 and are now getting an error:

This is one of misalingments with OCP process. Please file a bug with expected result so that we could discuss our options here.

Nightlies won't appear in stable after the channel is changed. If you didn't mirror it locally then its gone
