Display comments and notes just like in word #383

Basically a 3-pane layout. I agree that right now note support is only in iteration 1 (we have notes, but we have not spent much love on the UI). Your comment is on point: with wide monitors there is ample space to do that as described. Right now we have the slide out panel and you only see one note. I am currently looking your Digital Media students at U Bremen for master thesis projects on OpenQDA UI – displaying (and integrating the display) of notes for documents, codes and selections could be one such project. |

Comments and notes could be displayed more effectively. A layout similar to Microsoft Word, where comments are shown in a side panel next to the text, would improve readability and navigation. It would also be useful to have the option to show or hide comments and notes as needed to keep the workspace uncluttered.
