[IMPORTANT] From Open Source to Global Impact – A Community Update & A Small Ask 🙏

Hi everyone @yfosp/community 👋

I’m Melvin Ng RPh, founder of YFOSP. Over the past 4 years, this open-source initiative has grown into a community of 400+ individuals – builders, learners, and contributors who believe in sharing knowledge and creating impact together. I’m deeply grateful for every contribution, big or small, that made this possible.

Alongside YFOSP, I’ve had the privilege to work as a Developer Advocate and Software Engineer across multiple organizations, helping teams and communities build better software and stronger ecosystems.

Recently, I graduated as an NUS Valedictorian (Postgraduate with Distinction) and took the next step in applying technology for real-world impact by launching a healthcare startup initiative, HealthPredictor.AI. This journey is very much shaped by the values I learned from open source: collaboration, transparency, and building for people.
