Publishing GitHub Workflow not triggering

Greetings! My site is no longer being published. Here's a rundown:

• The last successful run of the pages-build-deployment was on 3/25/2024
• The next change wasn't made until 4/19, but the ci build failed (log no longer available)
• It's a side project, so I wasn't able to start troubleshooting until today
• I updated the actions/checkout to v4
• I updated Jekyll to ~> 4.2 and added jekyll-remote-theme in the Gemfile
• The HTML proofer and validator throw errors, so I temporarily disabled them

I don't see where the pages-build-deployment workflow is triggered. I'm not a Ruby developer. Can anyone provide some insight?

Still worth investigating, but I'm deploying with jekyll-gh-pages for now. Worked like a champ. On to fix my HTML issues caught by the validator.
