"mul" is not a defined global, I'm assuming it's meant to use the local function "multiply"
With some additional testing it seems the metatable functions are not working at all?
I might be misinterpreting what the __add and __mul functions are meant to do, but my assumption is that they are metatable defines for operator addition and multiplication?
