Closing discussions requires pressing an unlabeled "stop" button, and then clicking close discussion on the next page, sometimes after a spurious error message. House president has requested this be redesigned to be one step and more clear (maybe under the three dot menu?)

Yea. I also dislike those floating buttons. This was the best I could find in the UI library, but I just think it is really bad. I dislike just icons for buttons.
What is the error message?
So the reason why there is the next page is so that you can enter minutes/notes and select passing motions. I do not know how this could be made shorter. Maybe if you are not using PeerMind for note taking?
And yes, not sure where to put a button for closing, but it should go somewhere.
