What is the most stable Perspective version currently recommended?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently using Perspective 3.8 and I’m evaluating whether I should upgrade to a newer version.

I would like to know: which Perspective version is currently considered the most stable/recommended for production use?

I’m particularly interested in stability when using the perspective-viewer, especially with:

numeric columns and filters

grouping

large datasets

WASM-related issues

Would you recommend staying on 3.8, or upgrading to a newer version?

The answer is always the latest version, except perhaps when it is the first release of a new major version (in which case it is still recommended, but might not be 100% stable and certainly contains breaking changes). We are always fixing things and making changes, so if you're asking for no changes then "don't change your version", but if you're asking for fixes and improvements then "always latest".
