Sorry, I haven't looked at the project for a while. I think the https thing can be fixed quite easily by extending the server a little bit. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/5998694/how-to-create-an-https-server-in-node-js.
As for the editing. Is it that when you create a new page, you want to initialise it with a custom page? I'd like to be able to edit this page at a special number, say 900, and this would be used as the starting template.
An RSS reader would be an interesting project. Some weird template where you can put in the rss source into the teletext page directly and then the page would be able to pick up an RSS feed. That would be a bit of an innovation.
