Noob Here - picocomputer built - where should I begin?

Got the board pre-populated. wrote 0.11 VGA to Pico2, wrote 0.11 RIA. Installed. Problems with USB / USB Hub (no keyboard / disk yet.) Took a bit to get VGA console working through terminal. Used Microsoft Code Terminal Window to send status command. I'm able to change the PHI2 by command, However, I get a timeout when trying to read memory from the monitor. Any tips for getting started would be helpful. VGA output seems to be working great at least for monitor output. I'll post pictures. Thanks!

Yep, went back through and reseated the chips and I'm getting values back from RAM when reading an address in the monitor.

Simply accessing memory tests everything but the 6522, so it sounds like you're good to go now.

Bring up the dev environment so you can run the examples. Most don't need a USB OTG cable/hub.

Status Update: I was able to purchase a pretty cheap OTG hub from Amazon and some of my USB Keyboards worked with the RIA as well as I was able to mount various FAT32 thumb drives. The Keyboards with a wireless USB dongle didn't seem to work for me. As a note for anyone that comes after me, powering on the system, waiting a few seconds... then plugging in the USB devices... waiting for a few seconds, then pressing the reset button on the board seemed to work best. I didn't get any notification of mounting, but I did see changes when typing 'status.' My next goal will be to get the Microsoft Code Dev environment up and running so I can upload some of the examples and create some "ROM" to store and load. Woot, Woot!

Wireless USB keyboards and mice work fine.

added Note - typing HELP at the console was very helpful to learn the commands, very similar to MAN in unix / linux. =D
