Tool: FormatFX, a visual IDE for list formatting #1027

Sample (which sample are you talking about)

Not a sample or question. Just a Tool for your consideration!

Question (the more details, the better)

I've built FormatFX (because I wanted it and I wanted the practice). FormatFX is a visual IDE for SharePoint list formatting that compiles to bulletproof JSON. It lets you click through Format cells dialogs or write JSON directly, both feeding the same live preview. The built-in linter catches SharePoint's silent-failure quirks; the stress-test runs against null dates, boundary numbers, and edge cases.

I thought it might be worth considering FormatFX alongside your existing tools and resources not as a replacement for sp-formatter, VSC extensions, or the schema reference, but as another option for makers who want to build and test formatters without writing JSON from scratch.

Before getting into List-Formatting I knew nothing about CSS. Couldn't even spell it. I have learned SO MUCH from this community and wanted to build something worth sharing. Hopefully this is something.

If you think it fits with the List-Formatting mission, I'm happy to help draft a docs entry or tools section. If not, totally understand let me know! It's AGL/commercial bc Fable said so. If a maintainer or whoever tells me it's a condition for sharing then I can change the licensing. Licensed MIT. Thanks!!
