Impact of MSOnline and AzureAD PowerShell Retirement on PnP PowerShell

I have a question regarding the retirement of MSOnline and AzureAD PowerShell modules as mentioned in the following article: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/microsoft-entra-blog/action-required-msonline-and-azuread-powershell-retirement---2025-info-and-resou/4364991

I understand that PnP PowerShell does not internally use these modules, and therefore, I believe there should be no impact. Could you please confirm if my understanding is correct?
