In lazer notelock is mostly no longer present, which means that (primarily) on stream maps if a user aims too fast it'll lead to a single miss, caused by the current lazer system insta-missing the previous note if pressed in the wrong order, and a stream of 100s/50s because the user is now ahead in the rhythm by exactly 1 note. The issue is that if you miss right before a stream, or miss on multiple parts of a stream in a short period of time, you don't hear the miss sound because there is a slight "timeout" to avoid hearing the miss sound in every single miss.
If that's the case, there can be scenarios where a user aims too fast on a stream, and only has the visual indicator (100s and 50s) to tell that he aimed too fast, which could be hard to react in a timely manner as the player is also trying to read the map itself. This happens because although you aimed too fast, technically your tapping is still perfectly in sync with the song, just 1 note ahead of where it should be, which means that rhythmically you can't tell that you jumped ahead.
My suggestion here would be a new sound that would be part of a user's skin, and would play the sound whenever a miss was triggered by clicking the circles out of order, which could have a different "timeout" from the miss sound, or no timeout at all as these kinds of misses would occur with a much lesser frequency
I'd like to hear people's feedback on it, and most importantly if this is something that has bothered people before, or if I'm literally the only one that has ever brought up such an issue.
