You can use this as a workaround,

  • Find Daemon Set name of the node-exporter
    kubectl get ds -n <namespace>
  • Patch it with the following command
    kubectl patch ds monitoring-prometheus-node-exporter --type "json" -p '[{"op": "remove", "path" : "/spec/template/spec/containers/0/volumeMounts/2/mountPropagation"}]'
