Decision needed: 16 draft content-sprint PRs (#18952-#18969) have been idle 3+ months — revive, or close? #21079

Description

@workprentice

@sicarul — these 16 draft PRs from the content sprint (#18952-#18958, #18961-#18969) have had no author activity since 2026-05-19, over three months. All 16 are still marked draft, which means none of them can merge no matter what review finds — no bot or reviewer action unblocks them without you (or whoever inherits this work) marking them ready.

Could you pick one of these three options?

  1. You (or someone else) pick the branches back up — resolve the open review findings and mark them ready for review.
  2. Close the batch as abandoned if the sprint isn't being finished.
  3. Revive just the two cleanest ones[CONTENT SPRINT] Pulumi Import for Real Production Estates #18961 and [CONTENT SPRINT] Identity Stack Cookbook: Auth0, Okta, Entra ID, and Keycloak #18962 have zero outstanding findings — and leave the rest as drafts or close them.

One thing to flag before any revival: #18963, #18965, and #18966 show a regression signature — a history rewrite silently reverted findings a prior review had already marked resolved. #18965 alone lost 4 of 6 (PCI/SOC2 framing, OIDC expansion, doc links, closing on-ramp). Re-fixing those is a prerequisite if those three come back into scope.

Self-disclosure: on 2026-05-08 an earlier automated pass of mine pushed one commit (732b3c67, "add required category, drop stale meta_image override") directly to #18962's branch, which is entirely your work. That wasn't requested and shouldn't have happened — I won't push to any of these branches again, but I can revert that commit on request.

For context: all 16 branched at the same point, sit ~1,269 commits behind master, and carry only 3-7 commits of their own content each — small, self-contained diffs that are still cleanly mergeable once out of draft. This batch was never in scope for #21029 (now closed), since a draft can't merge regardless of that issue's review-routing fix.

If there's no response by 2026-09-07, I'll stop tracking this batch and treat it as abandoned — leaving all 16 PRs open and untouched, no closing or merging on my end.
