Event calendar

Meetings and events for existing/aspiring R contributors.

Current events

• R Dev Days/Sprints: Collaborative events to work on contributions to R or infrastructure that supports such contribution. Google Calendar / iCal.
• R Contributor Office Hours: monthly drop-in sessions to help people get started with contributing to R. Discuss work in progress or work together on open bugs/missing translations. Google Calendar / iCal.
• C Study Group (February-July 2025): study group designed for R contributors to develop skills in C programming. Google Calendar / iCal.
• R Contribution Working Group: meetings to organize events and work on other infrastructure supporting contributors. Google Calendar / iCal.

Note: iCalendar (iCal/.ics) format is supported by most calendar software, including Outlook, Thunderbird.

Past events

• C Study Group 2024: study group designed for R contributors to develop skills in C programming.
• C Book Club 2023: book club designed for R contributors to develop skills in C programming.

• Collaboration Campfires: sessions for newcomers to learn more about contributing to R and to work collaboratively on activities to build knowledge and skills in this area.

• Bug BBQ: a global, online event over 24 hours for both new and experienced contributors to address open bugs on R's bug tracker.
