Which features to implement?

Just looking at the list of new (that is >= 0.4.2) mapgl features: https://github.com/walkerke/mapgl/blob/main/NEWS.md

Which ones would you like to see in tmap.mapgl?

Now working on:

• interactive categorical legends (interactive legends -> implementation for polygons walkerke/mapgl#179)
• pmtiles support (PMTiles support tmap#1229)

Other features that are nice to have (and relatively easy to implement :-))? @stragu @Robinlovelace @tim-salabim ?

Seems like good prioritisation to me! Sorry, I don't have a strong opinion here because I haven't experimented with both tmap and mapgl enough to see what would be good to implement...

Although the mention of "compare views" (not new, but improved in recent versions) has caught my attention, for two reasons:

• The "swipe" mode is a very cool feature! And I can see users appreciating having access to the feature for e.g. historical comparisons.
• How would he "sync" mode relate to tmap's existing faceting?

Standalone html support with tmap_save() working, if it doesn't already (not tested) comes to mind..

Facets: there already was an argument 'sync' in tm_facets. I added a 'swipe' argument as well. It is a kind of a two stage option no-sync -> sync-> swipe. It only works for the mapgl modes, not for the "view" mode. (There are swipe implementations but either only for raster or in leaflet.extras2::addSidebyside, but this is not straightforward to use)

tmap_save. If the filetype is html it now uses the current mode (and if that is plot it uses the view mode as default). So if the mode is maplibre, a maplibre map is saved.
