Wanna know how data is being updated on contributor dashboard .

I was going through the dashboard when I came across a situation where dozens of users appeared in the top weekly and monthly lists, despite not having contributed recently. Out of curiosity, I checked some of their profiles and found that a few haven't made any contributions for months. This made me wonder—how is the ranking system working?
