My question is, is it possible to add a button to the admin menu or create a plugin that allows the server PC running HFS to be rebooted? This feature would be really useful because sometimes the remote desktop app crashes, and I can't access the server PC. Additionally i would like to perform manual restarts from time to time.

this is out of scope for HFS, but you or someone else can make a plugin for it

@killersolyom i can make a plugin for it if you need it
it wouldnt be in the admin menu though. it would be a hidden password protected link and when you access it will restart the pc
what platform are you hosting on? windows?

Hi @W-i-n-7 To be honest I haven't started yet because I was afraid of potential security vulnerabilities. The idea seems good, especially if it's possible to ensure that not just any user can access/use the link. Regarding the operating system, i'm using Windows.

There wouldnt be any, the user does not have any control over what command gets executed. That is determined by the admin (As access to admin-panel = full system access anyway)
And ensuring no user can access the link is the job of the password😀

i could make it an array where you can make any amount of links that run whatever commands
same kind of plugins as my other ones
tbh its getting a little repetitive atleast for me 😅
