Any plans for version 1.0.0?

I'd love to see this package get more adoption. Being on 0.x.x could give impression that the package isn't ready for production, which might be holding it back from becoming a Flutter Favorite. Given how stable and popular the package is, are there any plans to release version 1.0.0 soon?

I don't really care about it getting Flutter Favourite status tbh.

We could make a 1.0 release. It's been stable for a while. Although I don't like making releases with nothing in it.

I was wondering if we could resolve the issue #335 before the version 1.0.0. It has received some upvotes and I think it's worth it to change it.

I could make a PR for this, but creating a PR now for this change could break the other PRs, leading to a merge hell. Please drop a comment if you want me to make a PR for this issue!
