# Preparation

```bash
corepack enable # if it's not enabled
pnpm i
```

## Development

```bash
pnpm dev # will watch and rebuild all packages in ./packages
```

Then development with the packages in `./sandboxes`.

## Release

For repository maintainers:

1. bump versions locally with `pnpm bump patch|minor|major` from `main` (behavior is pinned in `bump.config.ts`) and push the resulting version commit to `origin/main`.
2. wait for CI on that commit to go green.
3. trigger [rstackjs/storybook-rsbuild/actions/workflows/release.yaml](https://github.com/rstackjs/storybook-rsbuild/actions/workflows/release.yaml) manually, NPM publish, git tag push and GitHub Release will be created then.

## E2E Testing

Before running the suite for the first time install the Chromium runtime:

```bash
pnpm exec playwright install chromium
```

Then execute all sandbox smoke tests via:

```bash
pnpm e2e
```
