Description

A hiss is transmitted in voice for a couple seconds after voice is unmuted (Windows "Audio enhancements")

Reproduction steps

  1. On a Windows system:
  2. Set Settings -> System -> Sound -> type of input audio device -> Audio Enhancements -> Voice Clarity. Below that, set "Voice Focus" to Automatic. (these were the default settings for Dan)
  3. Log into SecondLife
  4. Listen to voice from a different computer while you toggle your voice on.

Observed: A warbled hiss is broadcast in voice for a couple seconds.

Expected; No hiss.

Workaround: Set Settings -> System -> Sound -> type of input audio device -> Audio Enhancements -> Off, then restart Second Life.
