Why can sep.extract return a threshold of 0 in case of deblending? #152

I noticed that when deblending is applied sep.extract can return a threshold of 0.
(It must be related to deblending, since the returned values of "flag" are 2 for the detected sources that have a threshold of 0)
Not sure why that is nor if SExtractor behaves the same.
I read about how deblending is performed in SExtractor, it works with subthresholds between the applied threshold and the peak value of the composite source. Both of these are strictly positive, so this does not make sense.
