Having trouble viewing demo on expo

I followed the instructions and everything looks like it's working on the server end:

However, I'm getting this error when I open it in the expo app:

This demo is outdated and no longer supported.

All react-native/expo stuff is currently in a bit of a pending state. I do not do any RN development myself so its hard to keep up with the recent trends over there.

Ah damn. Do you have a recommendation for a setup?

Not at the moment. I have not looked at any of the RN stuff lately. I know that :npm-module works ok-ish.

I stopped with this concept for create-react-native-app based setups:

  :expo-ios
  {:target :react-native
   :init-fn demo.rn/init
   :output-to "out/testCRNA/index.js"
   :devtools {:autoload true
              :preload [shadow.expo.keep-awake]}}

but this required setting

  "main": "./index.js",

in package.json. Not sure if this still works though. The idea was to have the :init-fn called on startup since it was pretty complicated to get a REPL/live-reload working with :npm-module otherwise.

I'll see if I can find some time to finish all of this work in the next month or two. Its all basically 80% done I just got tired of figuring out what the metro world does since I never could get source maps working properly.
