Feature Test Checklist

✅ Bugs Fixed - Please Test These

Bug 1: Image Preview in Details Panel

• Open any image file (PNG, JPG, etc.)
• Click "View details" or right-click → "File information"
• Expected: Details panel should show the ACTUAL IMAGE PREVIEW (not just generic icon)
• Image should be visible and properly sized

Bug 2: Clicking Images Opens Preview

• Click on any image file in the file list
• Expected: FileViewer modal should open showing the image
• Image should be fully visible with zoom controls
• Should work for: PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP

Bug 3: Google Drive-Style Context Menu

• Right-click on any file
• Expected: Context menu appears with proper styling
• Hover over "Open with" → Should show submenu (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• Hover over "Share" → Should show submenu (Share with people, Get link)
• Hover over "Organize" → Should show submenu (Move to, Add shortcut, Make a copy)
• Click "File information" → Should open Details panel
• All submenus should appear on the right side

Bug 4: Animated Stars

• Click on any star icon next to a file or folder
• Expected: Star should ANIMATE (scale up/down, fade) when clicked
• Animation should be smooth (React Spring)
• Star should fill with yellow color when starred
• Animation should happen on both click and when toggling

✅ Features Implemented - Please Test These

Feature 1: Updated Sidebar

• Sidebar should show:
  • "Home" (house icon)
  • "My Drive" (folder icon, with expandable arrow)
  • "Computers" (monitor icon, with expandable arrow)
  • "Shared with me" (users icon)
  • "Recent" (clock icon)
  • "Starred" (star icon)
  • "Spam" (alert icon)
  • "Trash" (trash icon)
• Storage section at bottom:
  • Shows "Storage" label
  • Progress bar (blue fill)
  • Text showing "49.71 GB of 2 TB used"
  • "Get more storage" button

Feature 2: Home View

• Click "Home" in sidebar
• Expected: Page title should show "Welcome to Drive"
• Should see "Suggested folders" section
• Should see "Suggested files" section
• Folders should be in a grid layout
• Files should be in a list with details
• NO Gemini section (as requested)

Feature 3: My Drive Shows Only Files

• Click "My Drive" in sidebar
• Expected: Should show ONLY FILES (no folders visible)
• Folder count should be 0
• Only files should appear in the list

🔍 Additional Tests

File Preview Features

• Open image file → Should preview correctly
• Open PDF file → Should preview in PDF viewer
• Open video file → Should show video player
• Open text file → Should show text content
• Open office document → Should show download prompt

Context Menu Features

• Right-click file → All options available
• Right-click folder → All options available
• Submenus should work smoothly
• Menu should close on outside click

Navigation

• Click "Home" → Shows home view
• Click "My Drive" → Shows only files
• Click "Recent" → Shows recent files
• Click "Starred" → Shows starred items
• Click "Trash" → Shows trashed items

🐛 Known Issues to Check

1. Action Buttons: Click star/share/download buttons on files - should NOT open preview
2. Image Loading: Check if images load properly in Details panel
3. Menu Animation: Context menu submenus should appear smoothly
4. Star Animation: Should be smooth, not static

📝 Notes for Testing

• All features should work in Chrome browser
• Make sure you're logged in before testing
• Try uploading test files (images, PDFs, etc.)
• Test with both grid and list views
• Test on different screen sizes if possible
