The invitation link was obtained from README.md as presented by GitHub:

Is there a way the invitation link can be updated? I would like to play around with it on Windows 10, but I'm not sure how to set up my build environment.

This was utterly ignored when I posted it, and still has no official response from an organization with a $50M annual budget (but which hires many fewer people than it should with that money due to contributing to the Bay Area tech-induced economic inflation caused by everyone targeting high incomes and leaving everyone else either literally out in the cold or in places that make Harry Potter's pre-Hogwarts closet under fhe stairs look positively roomy and palatial).

Let's leave it open and see how long it takes them to realize I'm calling them overpaid.

You did read the readme, right saying "This is an unofficial Signal client for the Universal Windows Platform. It is (currently) a hobby project in a very early stage of production, so expect bugs and non-backwards compatible changes."
