Improving UX/UI for the interactive chat

Thanks to the contributors and maintainers of this tool!

Is there a way or plans to improve the llm chat to be more user friendly? Like

1. Distinguish by color the user's input and the llm's outputs
2. Some progress shown when a user sends a request. Like "Sent. Thinking..." Because currently it is hard to tell if a request sent or I need to press Enter once more.
3. Hotkey to trigger an external editor instead of typing "!editor"

In general, it would be great to take features from similar tools and agents. See github.com/sigoden/aichat which has, imho, a better interactive REPL / chat. Agents by Anthropic/OpenAI/ others that has themes support and other features
