This fontset only has icon glyphs, so when you load it in certain text environments, there are warnings about missing characters such as space, tab, carriage return, etc. Refer ineshbose/simple-icons-latex#18 (comment)

Do you think we can add this to the font?

What are the characters that should be left? Are we talking about ASCII or a subset of UTF-8/UTF-16? Pinging @Rimole

If I could unblock this ticket with a guess that it would be UTF-8/Unicode.

ineshbose/simple-icons-latex#18 (comment) displays the non-printing space characters as the missing ones.

I don't think it's necessary for our font package.

This font only uses U+E000–U+F8FF Unicode Private Use Areas, itself should not include basic character such as space, tab etc. if you really want using this font and contain basic character, you should try some font merge tool like fonttools.

The latex package using font to functionality, but I think the better solution should use SVG in Latex, not via font, I don't know much about Latex, but I think you can try SVG Latex package.
