Option to Provide Password Through File

I am currently packaging and making a nixos module for the smp-server and xftp-server and everything is going well so far, but I noticed that the server can only use a password hard coded into the config file. Could you provide an option to use a password from a file on the system as well? This would make it very easy to integrate with current secret mechanics for nix.
