Android Developer and fanboy from India. Now in Canada. I have been working on Private, Government and Enterprise apps throughout my career. but the most impactful project I have ever worked on was using WebRTC for Android.

WebRTC for Android

I have been working with WebRTC for Android from 2016 for a video conferencing app at work. I had to spend a couple of months just to understand how to get it to work on Android as the documentation and the library were not readily available.

I set out to change that and wrote a couple of Medium posts which provided a step-by-step guide for developing video calls with WebRTC. The first post in the series is available here - Getting started with WebRTC for Android.

Like all things in tech, the technology, and the WebRTC SDK has evolved a lot over the last couple of years. I have moved on from the WebRTC app and is currently working on an entirely different technology. But I still look at the Medium blog views, comments, emails I receive from the readers saying it is not working anymore. I also see the Github project getting more and more forks and stars every day and a number of people coming up to create issues when things don't work.

While I love to spend more time to get this cleaned up and keep it updated often, reality doesn't let me do it. I am stuck with my day job and have a newborn at home which limits my ability to spend time on this. I am looking for someone to sponsor this project development so that I know someone is excited about this work other than me and that would definitely make me spend some time on this.
